Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will applicants receive a confirmation email or copy of their submission?

A: Yes, applicants will receive a confirmation email.

Q: When will applicants be notified?

A: Applicants can expect to be notified by early May.

Q: Is there a word document or offline version of the proposal where I can access the questions/requirements in advance of populating the online form (for team collab purposes)?

A: Yes! Please access the downloadable form here. You can also save and return to the online form until the submission deadline (March 29 at 11:59 p.m. CT).

 Q: Can the same individual/team submit more than one proposal for different streams?

A: Yes; however, the Review Committee may request that multiple submissions be combined or adapted depending on the content.

 Q: Do applicants have to be affiliated with a post-secondary institution? Do they need a supervisor?

A: Not at all! Just an interest and/or research in post-secondary mental health and well-being.

 Q: What platform will be used at the conference and what tools are available to presenters?

A: Presenters will be hosted on Zoom with all the standard features, and, upon request, conference organizers can help integrate other platforms/tools into your presentation/session. Presenters will also be invited to an orientation session ahead of the conference.

 Q: Are you offering a seed grant again this year?

A: Yes! Another $10K seed grant will be available this year. Please stay tuned for more information and learn more about the 2021 conference seed grant winner.
